Ric licked at the trickle of blood that escaped before Damon's skin knit back together, breathing harsh and heart pounding.
There could be little doubt that Damon had enjoyed himself, feeling the release against him and echo of it inside his own satisfaction, but he was still... shocked at himself. He had never in his life bitten someone hard enough to break skin. At least not someone he liked, or in an intimate situation.
"Sorry," he managed, breathlessly. "Are you all right?"

Still not sure why it bothered him as much as it had, but it had.

The storm Damon had set in motion was still raging outside, and the open window brought in the fresh scent of rain. He hadn't bothered with a shirt, so he just moved to stretch out on the bed: close to Alaric, but not quite touching, yet.
Curling up for naps with someone was new for him, and he wasn't sure what to do now.

Damon took the cue and shifted to settle more against Alaric. He smiled a little, one shoulder lifting in a shrug. "Most of the time, yes..."

That was his cue to throw an arm over Damon's waist, and hook one of his ankles over one of Damon's. He tucked his fingers under Damon's back, and pressed his nose into the hair at Damon's temple. "Wake me up if you get up, please?"
