Ric hissed a quickly indrawn breath through his teeth, tangled one hand in Elijah's hair and splayed the other low across his back. "I wasn't really waiting on permission.... Just trying to figure you out." He tilted his head to the side, a little deliberately exposing his throat, not so much in offer as in refusal to guard it, and took advantage of the new position to be able to nip fairly sharply at the outer edge of Elijah's ear.
