Elijah shuddered at the kiss, loving the pleasure crawling under his skin, and a tiny moan broke free when Ric broke it. It took a moment for him--even him--to wrap his mind around the question and come up with an answer.

"I think I'd have felt it if you had anything hidden in the bed." Like a stake or a dagger. He was mostly teasing, though, finding himself trusting Ric more and more, which was...disturbing, when he thought about it.
