Ric physically reacted, just a little, to the hand coming back up to his throat. It made his breath catch, and his pulse skip a beat, something a little wary flicker in his eyes, but it was all only there for a split second. It didn't even make him stop smiling. Just... physical memory. Apparently necks were good handholds, or something.
