She closed her eyes and let her healing finish up and make her feel better, while his touch was soothing and warm and made her feel safe. Eventually she pulled back and sat up a little, tilting her head to look at him, then leaned in and licked his cheek--tongue not quite so dry as that of a cat, but nowhere near as slobbery as a dog's either.
