Ric tilted his body in toward Elijah, and set his glass aside so that there was more of his body to lean against, and let the hand not in Elijah's rest on his chest. "You don't strike me as someone who lets things go easily... even when you want to. Maybe adjust your expectations out a few centuries beyond us mere mortals, but I think you'll get there."
