How Ric managed to avoid collapsing right on top of Damon was a mystery, even to Ric, but somehow he managed to brace one hand on the wall and the other on Damon's back and stay up when Damon sank down. He dropped his head, closed his eyes and stroked his thumb back and forth between Damon's shoulder blades and tried to find his voice and calm his heart enough to hear anything but the thunder of the pulse in his ears.

After a moment or two he gently pulled out of Damon. Kept rubbing his back but got most of his weight onto the wall instead of Damon. He felt... very satisfied, and much, much more at ease than he had before they'd begun this. Like Damon might actually be 'his', after all the sharing and stress and upset. He wanted to hold Damon, but that couldn't happen in a bathroom. So he just kept touching him.
