When Ric started to move, push himself up, Ric shifted with Damon and moved to rest beside him, moved into his arms and collapsed just a little against the counter himself, still letting it hold more of his weight than Damon. He slid his arms around Damon as best he could, rested his forehead against Damon's and closed his eyes. His hands didn't stay entirely still; he kept lightly stroking his fingers over Damon's skin, as he caught his breath and his pulse slowed a little.
He knew they weren't done, yet, but he needed to... keep touching Damon, reassuring himself, and nuzzling at the space he'd bitten, even though Damon (of course) healed rapidly. Damon wasn't the only one trembling a little, either.
