Ric stayed fairly cautious, and got almost a little fidgety on top of it. He put the bottle back down on the dresser and leaned back against it, hands on either side of himself. "Letting him know that you're not being cruel or ignoring him on purpose seems like a really good idea," he agreed, slowly.
He agreed for different reasons, probably, that had more to do with Ric not wanting Damon hurt than him liking the idea or wanting to be allied with much of anyone right now, but he agreed. He even, mostly, recognized that Kol hadn't actually done anything for him to be as seethingly pissed off as he was.
The question in Damon's voice, though, was harder for Ric to address. "Are you questioning that you are, or that you want to tell him you are?"
