Damon slid one hand up Ric's chest to curl around the back of his neck, pulling him just that much closer. The kiss took on a heated edge as he let Ric pull him close, his hips rocking a bit into him, wanting more almost immediately, though that more was something he tried to keep out of the kiss, following Ric's lead.

The emotion--whatever name you wanted to call it--was as important as the touch, but the touch was the way he knew how to express the motion, and after everything tonight, he needed this.

Affirmation, connection, possessiveness...it was all there and he indulged in it.
